Eddie Cruz[citation needed] (born: September 14, 1995),[citation needed] better known as SimpleFlips, is an American YouTuber and streamer known for his Super Mario 64 ROM hack and Super Mario Maker 2 videos. SimpleFlips began his YouTube career primarily as a speedrunner for Super Mario 64, and this game is what most people know him for. He is also famous for his multitude of running jokes and memes that are referenced in his content, as well as for being an active member of the YouTube group Minus World.

SimpleFlips began his channel with clips from speedrunning, primarily the ROM hack Super Mario 64: Star Road. He later began streaming on Twitch and uploading VODs and clips to YouTube.

Foxen[]
Foxen is a Twitch streamer [1] and Youtuber [2]. He has appeared in more than 100 SimpleFlips' videos[3]. Foxen is mentioned in SimpleFlips' old Twitch donation alert sound, turned on during their races.
Markass[]
Markass is primarily a streamer on Twitch, who also uploads his edited content to YouTube. Mark is considered one of Simple's best friends, and appears in Simple's streams and videos frequently.
Vargskelethor (Vinesauce Joel)[]
Joel is also a very good friend of SimpleFlips, and has made a significant amount of appearances on Simple's channel, one of the most notable examples being when Joel and Simple played the Super Mario 64 Desert Bus mod for hours.
Minus World[]
SimpleFlips is an active member of the YouTube group Minus World, which consists of himself alongside Nathaniel Bandy, NicoBBQ, Nintendrew, Swanky Box, TetraBitGaming, Charriii5, DPadGamer, and the Hobo Bros / SMG4. Simple is good friends with everyone from the group, and specifically is famous for making lots of running jokes about fellow Minus World member Nathaniel Bandy within his streams and videos he uploads, a trend which other Minus World members also joined in on occasionally.

One of the most well known animators on the platform, James from the Odd1sOut channel is a good friend of SImpleFlips, and has been featured on the channel multiple times. Their first collaboration was when they went head to head in Tetris.
