Simran Dhanwani (Marathi and Hindi: सिमरन धनवानी; born: October 16, 1996)[1][2] is an Indian[3] comedy YouTuber and vlogger, and a part of the Ashish Chanchlani team.[4]
YouTube career[]
Simran and Ashish first met in 2016, around which time she was auditioning for an acting role at various media studios.[2] Simran agreed to act in Ashish's videos, with her debut in "TALKING TO YOUR CRUSH FOR THE FIRST TIME".[5] After receiving widespread recognition from being casted Ashish's video, she quit auditioning and started acting for ACV.[2]
Personal life[]
Simran was born and raised in Ulhasnagar, which is where she resides along with the rest of the ACV team.[2]
She got engaged to fellow YouTuber and ACV actor Akash Dodeja in January 2024[6] after dating for five years,[7] and the two married in March.[8]
Trivia[]
- She was born Karuna, but later named Simran after the character Simran Singh played by Kajol in the film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.[5]
