The Sint Maarten Parliament is a legislature that consists of 15 members, each elected for a four-year term in a general election. The current prime minister of the country is Luc F. E. Mercelina.[1]
History[]
The parliament was founded on the 10th of October, 2010, the date the Netherlands Antilles came to a dissolution.[2]
Channel history[]
The channel started out with a video on how the country is recovering from a hurricane that hit the island.[3] They then made videos on explaining how the SXM Parliament is organised[4] and went to videos on parliament meetings.
Channel content[]
The channel currently is semi-active and uploads roughly once a month, though there isn't an official schedule put in place describing when they will upload. The channel posts announcements relating to events happening across the parliament, such as elected members, wishes, etc.
