Mikael Hedberg (born: May 14, 1980[1], better known online as slicedlime, is a Swedish game developer. He is known for his works at Minecraft.

He started uploading videos in 2014, when he decided to make a chess map using command block videos. In that same year, he branched out on other games such as Battlefield 4, and more variety of content using command blocks. He also made a series named Beginner Commands and Hotbar Survival.
In 2015, he was involved with Mindcrack UHC Season 20. His team won the event.
In 2016, he started making content around Terra Swoop Force, a gamemode map made by the Noxcrew.
In 2017 few months before the 1.9 Update released and few months after getting hired by Mojang, he started making videos revolving with variety of games outside Minecraft, with Minecraft content still going on his channel. Having his channel considered as a variety gaming channel.
In 2018, he started streaming on Twitch.
In 2020, he joined the Legacy SMP and has been making videos and streams on the server since then, together with news about the latest Minecraft updates at his YouTube channel.
Career with Mojang Studios[]
He started working at Mojang Studios on February 1, 2017 and started working on Minecraft: Java Edition at May 1, 2019.[2][3] During the early days of his employment with Mojang, he had served as interim tech lead for the launcher team. He is currently the tech lead for the Java Edition game team.[4]
