Cassie Anne "Cass" (born: February 6, 2003), better known online as Snifferish (or simply Sniff), is an American gaming YouTuber who gained popularity through TikTok, Twitch, and YouTube. Cassie is known for their building skills, especially with the Minecraft modification "Chisel and Bits".
Personal life[]
Cassie was born on February 6, 2003 in the United States. They used to live in a rural area and currently live alongside their partner and fellow streamer Charles Poodwattle. They are 5'11" (181 centimeters) tall. They identify as an ace spec (on asexual spectrum) non-binary lesbian and uses any pronouns. However, this article uses they/them pronouns for consistency.
In March 2022, they opened up about their struggle with Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Due to this, they frequently have an unplanned absence in content creation.[2]
History[]
Sniff started making Minecraft YouTube content in 2017, and even branched out to make a personal channel named Cassie Anne. After a year-long break in 2019, they stretched their platform to TikTok, where they have amassed over 200,000+ followers. In September 2020, they began streaming on Twitch.
Cassie is also a professional Minecraft builder, and has worked with the Razzleberries Minecraft Marketplace Team since 2019 until 2020. They also spend a lot of their time doing art, and have two cats named Maya and Satsuki.
In November 2021, Sniff joined Misfits Gaming's Minecraft Team.
Involvements with Dream SMP members[]
Cassie is mostly involved with multiple Minecraft YouTubers from the Dream SMP. Most specifically TommyInnit and Wilbur Soot who they collaborated with on March 2021 for a Love or Host episode. Since then, they were also twitch raided by other Dream SMP members like Foolish Gamers as well as having theories by the Dream SMP fandom if they will join the Dream SMP. They're also sometimes having a cameo on the SMP members' streams, most specifically when they messaged Tommy mid-stream with Jack Manifold and got called once a "pussy" by Tommy himself.
In 2022, they collaborated with Tommy once again for Tommy's video "100 Players vs Natural Disaster" alongside fellow creators.
MC Championship[]
MC Championship is a Minecraft Tournament for YouTubers and streamers run by the Noxcrew, in which 10 teams of four compete in a series of 8 minigames decided by the participants. A point multiplier makes each game worth more as each round passes, incentivizing teams to vote for games they might be bad at early on in the event. In the end, the two teams with the most points face off in a round of ‘Dodgebolt’ to decide the winner of the tournament. This makes it possible for a team to win despite potentially having fewer points than the runner-up.
