Sorry, officially known as The Sorry Boys, was an English-American improv-based, comedy YouTube channel created along TommyInnit, Slimecicle, Ranboo, Ph1LzA and Wilbur Soot.
History[]
The Sorry Boys channel was created on January 15, 2023, with their other channel being created on the 26th. Their first video was uploaded on January 24, 2023 with the video titled: "Among Us: The Movie", which is also known as "Philza's Day Out! Part 1" according to the video's description.
The first fully-improvised video in the Sorry Universe, "We Went To Court," was uploaded on February 24, 2023.
Wilbur formerly dated fellow Minecraft YouTuber, Shelby Grace aka. Shubble, for an unknown period of time. On February 21, 2024, Shelby talked about their relationship in detail, on a Twitch stream she titled 'Talking About Something More Serious,' explaining that Wilbur had broke several important boundaries, was physically abusive (mostly biting), and emotionally manipulated and gaslighted her. While she did not reveal that Wilbur was her abuser in the stream, many people began to point fingers at Wilbur.
After Shelby talked about her relationship with Wilbur, several other people came out with their own stories of Wilbur's abusive behavior without naming him. A week later, Wilbur made a tweet containing a statement confirming that he was the unnamed individual.
On March 30, 2024, Sorry announced they were going on hiatus due to Wilbur's case, with each of the other members publicly stating they supported Shelby. They announced they would be uploading one final video where only Slimecicle, TommyInnit, Ranboo, and Ph1LzA were present, and said they would not be uploading the other 5 videos they had recorded with Wilbur as they thought it to be inappropriate given the circumstances.[1][2]

Merchandise[]
On November 17, 2023, the Sorry Boys released their first line of merchandise on thesorryboys.store. Available through December 1, 2023, this drop included t-shirts, long-sleeves, hoodies, a poster, and an enamel pin set. Some of the designs featured were based on videos from Chapter One such as "We Went To Prison" and "We Started A Cult". The merchandise was teased on the Sorry twitter account on November 16th, which then posted an announcement video the next day. This drop also accompanied the release of season two's "We Became Pro Wrestlers", in which the release of the merchandise was further announced and promoted.
Trivia[]
- "We Started A Cult" is the only Sorry video that does not open with the title card: "WARNING: the following is violently improvised."
- Wilbur bought the paintings visible in the Sorry office. He chose the leftmost painting because the dogs in it look as if they've been photoshopped in.
- "We Went To Court" was filmed in a public courthouse, where Sorry rented the room used in the shoot. Around 7 minutes and 50 seconds into the video, a lost stranger entered the room and saw the chaos ensuing.
- After Sorry's sudden cancellation due to Wilbur's scandal, fans were quick to relate it to the comedy group Lunch Club, which got cancelled due to allegations against CallMeCarson. Slimecicle was also a member of both groups.
