SovietWomble (born: 1986 [age 38–39])[1] is an English[citation needed] YouTuber and Twitch streamer from Brighton and Hove, England. He is known for creating the "Random Bullshittery" series and creating video essays on video games.[citation needed]

YouTube[]

SovietWomble created his YouTube channel in June 2011.[citation needed]

Initially, Soviet uploaded short clips of himself, and sometimes his friends, playing games, namely Battlefield and The Elder Scrolls.[2] The majority of these early videos have been removed from his channel, although some remain public.[citation needed]

On August 11th, 2013, Soviet uploaded the first video of his "Random Bullshittery" series on the zombie survival mod of Arma 2, called DayZ.[3] Compared to the previous short clips, the Random Bullshittery series featured more editing and were longer. This was also the first time Soviet's DayZ clan, called ZF, was featured prominently.[citation needed]

On occasion, Soviet would upload a short real life video or a short edited clip, such as unpacking a new bath mat and looking at bulldogs.[4][5]

On November 12th, 2020, Soviet uploaded his first video essay, being about the Arma 2 mod DayZ and it's standalone counterpart. He would go on to create two more parts on DayZ with supposedly a fourth in the making, while making another video essay on the dinosaur survival game The Isle. His third full length video essay titled What's so strange about The Forest? (2014), in which he discusses the open world survival horror game The Forest, was uploaded on May 9th, 2023. The video also included Soviet's official face reveal in its last few seconds, to his fans woudrous surprise.[citation needed]

Soviet is known for not posting regularly, and this has become somewhat of a joke among his community.[citation needed]
