In February 2014, Sports gained over 76.7M subscribers, and the channel has been losing subscribers.[1]

Sports was the 3rd most subscribed channel for almost 5 years, until in December 2018, During the PewDiePie VS T-Series subscriber battle, PewDiePie and T-Series surpassed Sports in subscribers, moving down from the 3rd most subscribed channel to the 5th.

Sports changed their icon from a Soccer ball to a Trophy during the Super Bowl on February 7, 2021, to represent the 55th Super Bowl.
