Tango Tek, or simply Tango, is an American gaming YouTuber who uploads Minecraft videos of him on the popular Hermitcraft server.

Hermitcraft[]

Season 2[]

Tango joined towards the end of Season 2. He was originally whitelisted on the server for one day, when Mumbo Jumbo tried to build one of Tango's iron farms but it didn't work, so the server whitelisted Tango so he could fix it. He then went on to create 11 episodes.

Season 3[]

TangoTek creates Iron Titan and builds the original Boombox.

Season 4[]

Season 5[]

Tango had built the Iron Titan and had a giant lava nether base consisting of four witch farms.

Season 6[]

Tango created the How to Kill a Tango challenge inspired by the How to Kill a Doc challenge from Season 3. The winner of the event was ImpulseSV. Grian won a shulker box of rockets from Tango's store Tek to the Skies.

He helped Grian prank Docm77 and rendog by replacing their Stock Exchangediamonds and the leaves on Doc's bush with Grian and Tango player heads. At spawn, Tango also created the community iron farm, known as the Iron Titan. In this version of the farm, golems were killed by a drowneds armed with tridents. The Iron Titan was broken in 1.14, which was "fixed" by ImpulseSV. He was the one who announced the “How to Kill a Tango” competition.

He fought with the G-Team against Team S.T.A.R In the HermitCraft Season 6 Civil War.

In Demise, he was the eleventh one to die, having the same death as Impulse while the two are trying to disable the traps scattered around the server. He killed Keralis with a trap and Grian with Cubfan135.

In the minigame district Hermit Land, he built a new version of Boombox, based off of season 3's original version.

Season 7[]

Tango worked with Xisumavoid to take down the Ender Dragon in the beginning of the season.

His base this season is known as Toon Towers, as he is going for a cartoony style with his build. He quickly built an iron farm, and, following his tradition of killing the golems in fun and exciting ways, had them killed by Ravagers he collected with Cub. He also built a creeper farm near his base and opened three and a half shops, PyroTEKnics (a rocket shop) and the Iron Works (an iron shop), and with impulse, they made concrete complete which was then renamed to Color Complete, when they added wool, at the shopping district. Along with ImpulseSV and BdoubleO100, he is one of the Boomers, and he, Impulse, and Bdubs were quickly hired, first by Cub and then by Keralis, to destroy unwanted land around their bases.

Season 8[]

In this season he built a huge iron farm, and teamed up with BdoubleO100, of which he built a giant cyclops (named "Fifi") over a storage room within the homebuilt mountain made by BdoubleO100. At the end of the season, in response to the large moon, he built a space headquarters called HASA from which he launched a rocketship.

Season 9[]

Tango chose a small mountain mostly surrounded by water for his mega -base, which he converted into a frosty peak with a menacing fortress on top. Within the mountain he planned to make the mini-game "Decked Out" #2, with the Warden as the main boss instead of ravagers like in his previous iteration. This season is currently ongoing.

3rd Life[]

[Started 4/20/21] 3rd life was mini series where several Hermitcraft members and Evo SMP members got together on a small server to play hardcore survival ..... but with a twist. Everyone would start with 3 lives (green life is 3 lives, yellow is 2, and red is 1), and live peacefully, build alliances, etc. But when a player died twice, they would be a red life, and would be automatically entitled to attempt to kill anyone they pleased. Lots of hilarious chaos happened during this short period of around 7-9 episodes, and it had a huge success. Tango participated in this series and lasted long. [More about 3rd life here].

Last Life[]

[Started 9/21/21] The sequal to 3rd life. Last life S2 is similar to 3rd life, but one may notice the name change. This is because of the change in rules from the previous season. The green life, red life, and yellow life rules are the same, but this time, not everyone started with 3 lives (this is why it was changed to last life) everyone started with 2-6 instead, AND a player could trade lives with another player (ex: player 1 had one life and player 2 had three lives, then player 2 traded a life to player 1, then player 1 would have two lives, and player 2 would have two lives). There was also a boogie man. The boogie man would be chosen each session and would have to kill one of the players (except the ones that were on their red life). If they succeded, they would be cured.... if they failed, they would be automatically turn to a red life in the following session. Pearlescent Moon and Mumbo Jumbo joined this season. Tango also got very far in this series. [More about last life here].

Double Life[]

[Started 6/17/2022] Double Life is the third season of the "3rd Life" Hardcore SMP by Grian where each player has three lives, and becomes hostile on their last "red" life. The world is enclosed within a border, and there is only 1 enchanting table, which in this season was located in an Ancient City. The twist for this season was that each of the 14 players was randomly assigned a "soulmate" who they would share a health bar with. Tango's soulmate was Solidarity.
