Joyce Zhou[1] (born: November 21, 2006 (2006-11-21) [age 19]),[2] known online as TechJoyce, is a Chinese-Canadian[3] YouTuber who creates comedic tech content with her younger brother. Joyce sometimes make vlogs with her sister, Anita on her joyce zhou account, badminton videos on her BadmintonJoyce account, and gaming content with her younger brother on her TechJoyce Gaming account.

History[]

In 2016, Joyce started making videos in an unknown account when she was 9 years old, but all of those videos were set to private. On January 7, 2022, she created the TechJoyce account and uploaded her first video in a form of YouTube Shorts on October 14, 2023. However, she started TechJoyce on TikTok where she gives tech advice. On August 2023, she was nominated for the 2023 Streamy Awards for Science and Engineering but didn't win the award.[4] Before YouTube, she worked 3 jobs; Video Editing, Social Media Marketing, & Digital Poster/Advertisement Design. In almost all of her videos, Joyce blurred her face because she suffered from a form of OCD called dermatilomanoa (chronic skin picking) since she was 11-12 and since she started making content with her hands, her skin started to heal more. However, her blur as many fans pointed out doesn't really cover her face very well and she finally revealed her face on December 18, 2024. On July 16, 2022, she also made a gaming channel where she play video games with her little brother.
