Techlore was built to prove privacy & security are not just achievable - but simple and accessible. Many of the topics discussed on Techlore are used to inform people about staying safe online. Techlore is mainly hosted by Henry Fisher,[1] though often features additional hosts or guests for interviews and podcasts.

Content[]

Techlore produces several types of content with the central focus of privacy & security, including but not limited to:

  • Guides & Tutorials
  • Reviews
  • Interviews
  • Comparisons

Device Guides[]

Every couple years, Techlore publishes device-specific guides for protecting iOS[2], Android[3], Windows[4], MacOS[5], and Linux[6] devices.

Become Anonymous Guides[]

Every few years, Techlore publishes all-encompassing 'Become Anonymous'[7] guides that condense modern privacy, security, and anonymity into a single YouTube video.

Go Incognito[]

Go Incognito[8] is Techlore's course teaching people about privacy, security, and anonymity. The free variant is available on YouTube as a playlist[9] and there's a full-length 'movie' with all lessons in a single video over 4 hours long.[10] The Go Incognito Premium[11] course is available on its website with additional perks including better production quality, removed ad segments, updates for 2021 changes, checklists, quizzes, a certificate, and more. Techlore has announced a V2 to Go Incognito will be released and has begun production,[12]

Techlore Talks[]

Techlore Talks[13] is an informal podcast between Henry Fisher and Jonah Aragon[14] with free-form discussions revolving around privacy, security, and technology. Occasionally, external guests are brought on in place of a typical discussion to interview experts in the privacy and security industry.

Nextcloud Made Easy[]

In November 2021, Techlore published the first video of the video series 'Nextcloud Made Easy'[15] with the intent of teaching users how to use Nextcloud, an open source suite where users self-host data. Unfortunately, the project hasn't been updated by Techlore due to cited time limitations.[16]
