Alexander "Alex" † (June 1, 1999 - June 2022 [aged 23]), better known online as Technoblade, Cyberknife, Technothepig, or simply Techno, was an American gaming YouTuber known for his Minecraft content and collaborations with other YouTubers and Twitch streamers. Many of his videos were primarily on the minigame server Hypixel. Alex's channel rose to popularity starting in 2019 partly from his performances in player versus player (PvP) gameplay.

About

Technoblade created the majority of his videos on the Minecraft server Hypixel. The time range between his video uploads was usually a week to a month, though he had tried (and failed) to do daily episodes. He also streamed Minecraft content live on YouTube, playing on the popular Minecraft server Hypixel, Minecraft Mondays, MC Championship, SMP Earth, Minecraft Story Mode, Party Games and the Dream SMP. He was part of Sleepyboisinc along with Wilbur Soot, Ph1LzA and TommyInnit and had been nicknamed "The Blade" by TommyInnit.

In the past, Technoblade mostly uploaded Blitz Survival Games. His 500th episode special, titled "Ultimate Hunger Games," was his most-viewed video before he gained more popularity. He had also made older videos of him doing things like cooking and green screen content showing his YouTube awards.

Technoblade was well-known throughout the Minecraft community for his skill in PVP (player-versus-player) combat. He earned the [PIG+++] rank on Hypixel for winning the Minecraft Monday tournament four times, more than any other YouTuber. He collaborated numerous times with other famous YouTubers, which many had been through Minecraft Monday, some of whom were teammates during the said event.

In late November 2019, he joined a Minecraft server named SMP Earth, a Factions server where an assortment of YouTubers plays survival on a 3000:1 recreation of the Earth. Technoblade also began streaming different games aside from Minecraft, such as the popular Minecraft spin-off "Minecraft Story Mode", and "Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord", which consists of 5 streams as of June 15. During the Potato War, Technoblade made multiple alternative Minecraft accounts such as Asiyn, Whitelisted, Whitelisted2, PommesDeTerre, NoHaxCanJustFly, Ender_Gamer09 and BizarreZzz.

Technoblade also played Hypixel's version of SkyBlock, which often featured his friends and co-op members, such as Jiyn, TimeDeo and xHascox. Technoblade made an entire series of Hypixel SkyBlock and was well-known for being "the fastest man in SkyBlock," as well as for his three-part Potato War saga in which he fought user Im_a_squid_kid for the #1 potato rank and won.

Accounts

His account name was "Technoblade", and he mainly played on Hypixel (SkyWars/Bed Wars). He competed in Minecraft Mondays and MC Championship. He also owned the accounts Whitelisted, BizzarreZz, PommesDeTerre and Whitelisted2 (latter known as MrBeastGoon27) as shown in his Great Potato War videos, qqng, shown in his "bedwars youtube event w/ AciDic BliTzz, Mydoeza, ShadowApples, a lot of people really"^[sic] video, as well as coolperson147, as mentioned in his “The art of a balanced breakfast - survival games montage” video. His account "Whitelisted" was originally created for a joke. Technoblade also owned the accounts Technogrenade, used in "Alt Account!- Solo SkyWars #12"^[sic] back in 2016, and SuspicousPIgman.

Personal life

Technoblade was born on June 1, 1999, and lived in San Francisco, California. He had three younger sisters and a brother named Chris. Technoblade had made a reference to a younger brother, although it is unclear if he was talking about Chris or if he had another brother. He also had a small dog named Floof.

Technoblade resided in California for most of the beginning of his YouTube career, attending and graduating high school in the state. In the middle of 2018, after his gap year, he moved to Iowa City, Iowa and enrolled in the University of Iowa as an creative writing major for over a year before moving back to San Francisco after dropping out. He said in one of his Q&A videos from 2016 that his parents were divorced. Up until the end of his life, Technoblade lived with his father, as revealed in a stream when he forgot to mute his microphone. It was also revealed that his father owns a film studio.

In Dream's stream, Remembering Technoblade, Techno's dad talked about his family, making clear that Techno was the oldest among his siblings, which would prove that Chris is his younger brother, and that Techno's oldest sister is around two years younger than him.

Techno made multiple references in his commentary videos and tweets about having ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). His ADHD was also confirmed on a Hypixel Forum post from September 27, 2014 & on the TeamFortress.TV forums.

Techno never did an official "face reveal". However, his face has been visible in his 100,000 subscriber special video, in the "Cooking with Technoblade" videos, and at the end of his "playing minecraft hardcore with a steering wheel" stream. He was an agnostic atheist.

Death

Cancer diagnosis

On August 27, 2021, Technoblade uploaded a video titled "where I've been", in which he revealed that he had been diagnosed with sarcoma, a rare bone and soft tissue cancer, in early August after feeling severe pain and swelling in his right arm. The cancer was detected early by doctors, and Techno focused on getting chemotherapy treatments. Later in the video, he urged his viewers to get vaccinated against COVID-19 and take necessary precautions since he was now immunocompromised and at higher risk. Since his announcement, he received support from many content creators Dream, DanTDM, CaptainSparklez, and other members of the Dream SMP, as well as from Roblox YouTubers KreekCraft, HelloItsVG and Ryguyrocky as they used to be Minecraft YouTubers or watch him. Following his announcement, the hashtag #TechnoSupport soon trended on Twitter and other social media platforms for a couple of days.

In the following MC Championship, in which Technoblade did not participate, Dream decided to match every point his team got and donated that amount in dollars to cancer research. Dream was able to raise roughly $21,000 for cancer research. Before the event started, Skeppy, Awesamdude, Finnster, TapL and Grian agreed to individually donate whatever Dream donated as well. Between the five of them, roughly $105,000 ended up being donated. The Aqua Axolotls (Antfrost, Fundy, Tubbo and 5up) agreed to donate $50 every time they swear. The week after his diagnosis, he posted a Sleepyboisinc video. The existence of an unedited video featuring him, Wilbur, Phil and Tommy had been alluded to on Twitter by some of the four before. Phil later confirmed on his Twitter that the video was recorded long before the cancer diagnosis. After that point, he only streamed or uploaded/recorded whenever he had the strength between chemotherapy sessions, and managed to do two lore-streams on the Dream SMP: one on his prison escape, and the other on him Jailbreaking Dream, ConnorEatsPants and Ranboo. He also streamed his attempt to beat Minecraft with viewers controlling the game, with viewers donating various awards to aid or prohibit him, and the stream raised roughly $322,900 for sarcoma research.

Additionally (though unrelated), the day he shared his diagnosis was the same day his channel finally surpassed one billion video views, making him one of just over 200 channels to have achieved that milestone.

Surgery and Temporary Recovery

On December 23, 2021, he made an update video with the ominous title "I Almost Became An Amputee". He said that he had scheduled to have his tumor removed in a surgery in October, but his doctors said that they would have to amputate his right arm, and it may have already been too late. After many referrals, the doctors told Technoblade that he could have a limb salvage procedure, in which the doctors would remove some of his bones and muscles, but they would also take out the tumor that caused his cancer in the first place. The second and more painful option would be a full amputation of his right arm. However, the amputation was said to increase his survival rate no further than the limb salvage procedure. They signed him up for a procedure but told him he had to wait for two weeks because the plastic surgeons were busy.

The surgery went quite well, despite Technoblade being in immense pain the week following. They did have to take a few muscles out of his left leg, rendering it inanimate, but the muscle was used to replace the muscle in the shoulder. They also had to take out his right clavicle, leaving him with 205 bones, which he joked advanced him beyond mortal levels. He also joked that his upper body strength was "steamrollered" so he would have to cancel his unannounced boxing match with Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

Minecrafters vs Cancer

On February 1, 2022, he announced the start of the Minecrafters vs. Cancer fundraising event, which was also a response to his cancer battle. Multiple creators joined in by adding the fundraiser to all their videos, while Techno also posted the fundraiser on his streams.

On June 30, 2022, a video was uploaded to Technoblade's channel titled "so long nerds", in which his death was announced by his father, along with a short script written by Technoblade approximately 8 hours before dying, with a slideshow of a few pictures of him. He said this in a message:

“	Hello everyone, Technoblade here. If you're watching this, I am dead. So let's sit down and have one final chat. My real name is Alex. I had one of my siblings call me Dave one time in a deleted video from 2016 and it was one of the most successful pranks we've ever done. Thousands of creepy online dudes trying to get overly personal going, "Oh hey Dave, how's it going?" Sorry for selling out so much in the past year, but thanks to everyone that bought hoodies, plushies and channel memberships. My siblings are going to college!Well if they want to, I don't wanna put any dead brother peer pressure on them. But that's all from me. Thank you all for supporting my content over the years. If I had another hundred lives, I think I would choose to be Technoblade again every single time, as those were the happiest years of my life. I hope you guys enjoyed my content and that I made some of you laugh. And I hope you all go on to live long, prosperous and happy lives, because I love you guys. Technoblade out.	”

Aftermath and tributes

Shortly after his death was publicly announced and made headlines on the news, Dream and other members of the Dream SMP expressed their condolences, support, and admiration for him online, as well as the co-founder of Hypixel (Simon Collins-Laflamme), owner of SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk, and many more. YouTube Gaming tweeted its condolences to his family, friends, and fans following the release of the video. Minecraft also tweeted its condolences, as well as adding a tribute to him by adding a crown to the pig in the Minecraft: Java Edition launcher, in reference to Technoblade's in-game Minecraft skin and channel branding. They later added a splash text in tribute to Technoblade, with the text reading "Technoblade never dies!" on both Bedrock and Java Editions, after his fans have petitioned his quote to be added on Minecraft. On August 20, 2022, TommyInnit stated that he and the SMP's members already knew about it earlier, from a phone call with Dream a week before the video got released.

In the weeks following Technoblade's death, hundreds of YouTubers released videos as tribute, with many of them continuing the spirit of the Minecrafters vs Cancer initiative by making their video a fundraiser for the Sarcoma Foundation of America. Roblox YouTuber and MC Championship Pride 21 winner KreekCraft, added a fundraiser on his ExplorerElizabeth Livestream, and donated all of the stream's Channel Memberships and Superchats to it at the end of his stream. The tribute video released by animator SAD-ist, using the opening speech from Techno's Hypixel SkyBlock video, likewise has a Sarcoma Foundation fundraiser.

In mid-October 2022, Technoblade's father and Dream made a livestream, titled "Remembering Technoblade", which is on Dream's channel, although it is now unlisted, and the stream was also a fundraiser for Sarcoma Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to cancer research.

In late October 2022, to honor the 9th anniversary of the launch date of Technoblade's YouTube channel, which was on October 29, 2013, YouTube themselves uploaded a tribute video for Technoblade titled "Technoblade Never Dies", with the title being based on his iconic quote. In that video, a female narrator from the YouTube team explains the life of Technoblade on YouTube. Moreover, if someone searches up "technoblade" on YouTube, under the search bar, there would be a prompt saying "Did you mean: technoblade never dies", in honor of Technoblade. Around the same timeframe, MrBeast uploaded a challenge video titled 100 Youtuber Minecraft Battle Royale!, which was recorded about a month prior to Technoblade's death. MrBeast contacted Technoblade's father regarding when to upload it, and Technoblade's father agreed for MrBeast to upload it around the anniversary of the launch date of the Technoblade channel.

The 2025 film A Minecraft Movie featured a brief tribute to Technoblade with a pig wearing a crown, which Steve (portrayed by Jack Black) calls him "a legend". The tribute wasn't originally going to be in the movie, but the actor Sebastian Eugene Hansen who played Henry, wanted it to be added to the movie. Concept art was later released on April 14, 2025. According to former preview watchers, earlier concepts of the Movie involved Techno's cameo as a Statue instead.

History

StudioLore and Derp Squad

Before the creation of his main YouTube channel, "Technoblade", he had another channel named "StudioLore", in which he posted a relatively small amount of irregular low-quality Team Fortress 2 videos and one Roblox Sword Fight On The Heights video. In his time on this channel, he accumulated around 50 subscribers. Technoblade was around 10 years old when he started publishing videos on this channel. He mentioned this older channel in his 1 million subscriber's special video and talked about it in detail.

Technoblade's first Minecraft content was posted on another channel, named "Derp Squad". The channel seems to have been created specifically for collaborations with his brother but was abandoned when the "Technoblade" channel was made. All videos on this channel were uploaded in August 2013, about a month after the StudioLore channel went inactive and roughly two months before the creation of the "Technoblade" channel.

Motivation

In Technoblade's video "the quest for the [PIG] rank", he says that he created the channel for the sole purpose of being confident and getting 10 million subscribers. But, when he met someone with the 3-coloured [McProHosting] rank on the Hypixel servers, he quickly decided that he "needed to get an even cooler rank". Technoblade came up with the idea to have a uniquely colored rank called the [PIG] rank. When he tweeted Hypixel how many subscribers he would need to acquire this rank, Hypixel responded with 10 million.

This was apparently "all part of his master plan" and supposedly increased his motivation to tryhard his YouTube career even more than usual. Despite not having reached 10 million subscribers at the time, he still gained the [PIG], [PIG+], [PIG++], and [PIG+++] ranks after Hypixel donated in his Minecraft Monday stream, stating that he would get [PIG] rank if he'd win the tournament. Following that victory, another plus sign would be added to his rank with each extra win in the event. The [PIG+++……] later became a meme and an inside joke among his audience.

Dream SMP

Technoblade joined the Dream SMP on September 23, 2020. He coined himself an Anarchist and was convinced by TommyInnit and Wilbur Soot to help them overthrow the corrupt government of the nation of L'Manburg, led by jschlatt and Quackity. However, when Tommy's side thought the war was over, Wilbur pressed a button that set off loads of buried TNT, which destroyed a large part of L'Manburg.

When Tommy tried to organize a new government to take control, Technoblade turned against them as he wanted a society without any governments, and he and Dream went on a killing spree. He was banished from L'Manburg and retired to a faraway land, putting his dreams of anarchy across the server on hold but secretly preparing for the next war. He later found the now-banished TommyInnit squatting in his house. Tommy was hiding from Dream and wanted Technoblade's help to get back some Music Discs that had sentimental value to him. When the new L'Manburg government sent a hit squad after Technoblade, Techno decided to end his retirement, teaming up with Dream to destroy L'Manburg once and for all. TommyInnit, who wasn't willing to go that far, betrayed Techno and joined the other side, but Technoblade and Dream pulled off their plan and annihilated the city. Shortly after the war, Technoblade allied with Ranboo, Niki Nihachu, and Ph1LzA. As the influence of the mysterious mind-controlling entity known as "The Egg" spread across the remains of L'Manburg, Technoblade's group grew further with people intent on acting against it.

Tournaments

Minecraft Mondays

In 2019, Technoblade participated in Keemstar's Minecraft event, Minecraft Mondays, where YouTubers and streamers would come together to play a wide variety of minigames, and the prize for winning was set as $10,000 dollars to be split between the first-place team, changed to $5,000 past week three. He won four times: week one, week two, week six, and week ten. He took part in the minigame-based event with other popular YouTubers and/or streamers including Skeppy, CaptainSparklez, Speedyw03, Vikkstar123, DanTDM, JeromeASF, jschlatt, MrBeast, Lachlan, PewDiePie, James Charles, Ninja, LazarBeam and more.

In this event, Technoblade had the unique opportunity to fight and kill celebrities and his childhood heroes for money (or, as Techno says, "Blood for the Blood God!"). Hypixel, the owner of the biggest Minecraft server in the world and the server Technoblade mainly makes videos on, sent a donation promising that if he won the tournament, he would be given [PIG] rank for 1 week. Minecraft Monday contributed many subscribers and viewers to Technoblade's channel due to the competition being held by Keemstar and being more mainstream. In the end, he won a total of $15,000 from the Minecraft Monday tournament series.

Week 1

In the first week of Minecraft Monday, Technoblade won the event with ShotGunRaids and received the $5,000 payment, as well as the prestigious [PIG] rank, which Hypixel was originally only going to give to Technoblade after he hit 10 million subs.

Week 2

In the second week of Minecraft Monday, teamed with iBallisticSquid, he won a second time, this time only receiving a $2,500 reward. Additionally, he received the [PIG+] rank on Hypixel.

Week 3

In the third week of Minecraft Monday, Techno was teamed with ChrisO2, and there was an assortment of games including dropper, parkour, and more. Technoblade lost first place on teams but won first place individually with 937 points. However, only winning as a team will earn you the cash reward.

Week 4

In week 4, he teamed with James Charles and did not win either the team score or the individual score.

Week 5

In week 5, Techno was paired with CallMeCarson. However, Carson logged off halfway through the event, so Techno's team placed 5th overall. He placed 2nd Individually.

Week 6

In week 6, he won for the 3rd time with jschlatt, both as a team and individually. Additionally, he received the [PIG++] rank on Hypixel.

Week 7

In week 7, due to glitches and bugs in the game modes "Build Battle" and "One Shot", it is unclear who won the event. However, Technoblade and his teammate, Junky Janker, are in the running for the victors of MM week 7 since they were only 2 points behind the 1st place team, BadBoyHalo, and Skeppy. In any case, Technoblade won individually.

Week 8

In week 8, Technoblade teamed with DanTDM. The team came second overall to MCmorganplayz and needlexd, and Technoblade came second to needlexd in individual points.

Week 9

In week 9, Technoblade's teammate was JackSucksAtLife, and the team placed fifth. However, Technoblade still placed first individually. This was Techno's lowest team placing.

Week 10

In week 10, Technoblade teamed with Ph1LzA. The team won first place with 1,892 points, setting a record for the highest number of points gained by any team on any Minecraft Monday. Technoblade also won first place individually with 1,080 points, beating the highest individual record of the event. Additionally, he received the [PIG+++] rank on Hypixel.

Week 11

In week 11, Technoblade's teammate was ConnorEatsPants. They placed third as a team, and Technoblade placed second to aquathecheater in individual points. Week 11 was also the week of the fall.

Week 12

In week 12, he teamed up with Ninja. However, he ended up dropping out 10 minutes early due to internet problems. His team still placed third place, and Techno got second place to m0xy in individual points.

Week 13

In week 13, he teamed with Wilbur Soot. His team placed third place, and Techno got third place after xNestorio and m0xy.

Week 14

The main game was cancelled due to a hacker hacking the Minecraft Monday server. Techno was going to team with Wispexe on week 14. However, Techno instead played Hypixel with 7 other YouTubers and tied for first place with TapL.

MC Championship

In 2020, Technoblade participated in Noxcrew and Dangthatsalongname's MC Championship event, an event where YouTubers and streamers would come together to play a wide variety of fancy minigames. The tournament consists of 10 teams and 40 players, featuring a variety of custom minigames. The prize is a special MCC coin by Noxcrew.

Techno was the only player in the said tournament to have played in more than one event and never leave the Top 10 Individual Leaderboard.

Techno and Quig are the only 2 players in the tournament to have scored Top 2 Individual with a team 5th place and lower.

Techno holds the Individual point record in the tournament, with an Individual score of 4307 points. Techno also holds the record for the highest point differential over 2nd place; his lead was almost 1000 points.

Techno also has the second-highest debut MCC performance ever with a whopping 3665 points, only behind TommyInnit with 3686.

In MCC P21, teammate Wilbur Soot experienced an unexpected fire alarm during Game 5, Parkour Tag. After the round, Noxcrew temporarily substituted Ph1LzA while Wilbur was away dealing with the fire alarm. Wilbur returned to MCC after Game 6, Battle Box. The team also came 3rd by 2 points to the Orange Ocelots, with scores 22765 and 22767, respectively.

Minecraft Ultimate Hunger Games

MC Ultimate is a Minecraft Hunger Games event for 250+ streamers. Organized by Pikaclicks, or Noah, it is known as the largest hunger games event held in the MC Community. Based around raising money for charity, participants received in-game items for their fans' donations to charity. On July 24, 2020, it was announced that Technoblade would be participating in Season 2 of the event as a last-minute add-on/replacement.

• MC Ultimate Season 1: Did not participate.
• MC Ultimate Season 2: Teamed with Calvin and xNestorio. Placed 1st individually, and his team placed 1st overall, winning the event.
  • Technoblade was added last-minute as a replacement for 2 members on the team.
  • Due to Technoblade's large fanbase, the team got a huge advantage in items from donations. Technoblade described the setup as "pay to win" and aptly named his video about it "Absolutely Ruining a $36,000 Minecraft Tournament".
  • He got 47 kills in the tournament, setting a record for most kills in a single MCU event.
  • Calvin placed second for kills with 40 kills, and Nestor placed third for kills with 29 kills.
  • Altogether, the team scored 116 kills overall, setting a new record for most eliminations in a team in one event. This is especially notable because this team only consisted of 3 players. The previous record was 19 by Lego Maestro.
  • Techno alone raised $11,625 for charity out of the $36,264 raised overall in the event.
  • Due to the imbalance, all other teams joined up to fight them, resulting in a final battle of their team of 3 vs 21 survivors. The trio wiped them all out and won the event.

MrBeast 100K Duel

After the MC Championships 8 Teams were announced, MrBeast indicated that he would like to have Technoblade and Dream duel for $100,000. They both agreed and started to train immensely. The duel was set to take place on Thursday, August 27, 2020, and was not streamed live. The results of the Duel were announced on a Video Premiere on MrBeast's Gaming channel, MrBeast Gaming, on August 29, 2020. The Duel consisted of fairly basic kits and 10 battles, 5 in 1.16 PVP and 5 in 1.8 PVP.

Technoblade won the 100K duel against Dream, 6-4. They quickly made analysis videos later, showcasing their POVs, and Techno and Dream agreed to split the money beforehand, regardless of the outcome. However, many of Dream's fans showed backlash against Technoblade winning the duel, although Technoblade expressed to his fans not to send hate towards anyone, as in the end, it was a close and good fight.

Controversy

Short feud with XQC

During Week 10 of Keemstar’s Minecraft Monday’s event, both Philza & Techno killed XQC & Moxy a few times during the event. Throughout the matches, Techno complimented & half-praised X, despite the ridiculing comments made by him. XQC even accused both Philza & Techno for “abusing the arrows” during the match.

Eventually both XQC and Philza bicker in the chatroom, however when XQC insults Philza & his low subscriber count, this causes Techno to read X’s message and give him mild criticism on stream while telling X to calm down as he’s “playing Minecraft”. After Week 10, during Week 12: After winning a couple rounds of Parkour Race he continued to maltreat & insult Technoblade throughout despite Techno continuing to compliment XQC.

Ninja also went on to insult & tease XQC when speaking with Techno, which he found absolutely hilarious due to X being toxic towards everyone during the event. When the dust settled, in 2021 during a Minecraft speedrunning stream, XQC was donated some money about Techno & Minecraft Mondays. The resulted in XQC to insult Techno & make up a story on how he was “better than him” & how he “complained to the admins everytime he lost.

His favorite weapon being the Deadringer pre-nerf. His other loadout consisted of the same Deadringer however usually a different knife such as the “Your Eternal Reward” and the “L'Etranger”.   • For over 20 minutes he attempted to kill Codsworth with a Baton due to him disliking slow dialogue options. He eventually knocked him unconscious where he realized Codsworth was “immortal” with “teleportation abilities”. He eventually felt remorse & immediate regret when realizing Codsworth had a built in flamethrower & buzzsaw to which he nicknamed him “Mr. Invincible Flying Robot of Death".
  • While progressing the small town of “Commonwealth” in episode #2, he accidentally fell through the ground due to a graphical issue which caused the game to load temporarily for over 5 minutes. Techno attempts to leave but realizes he is unable to exit back outside from where he came from. He then mistakenly clips through a door & enters the Concord Civic Access location because of the entire glitch. Due to him being softlocked he had no other choice but to use no collision cheats just to progress the game further.
  • Due to the archived existence of Fallout 4 Highlights EP#2 (with confirmation of another episode at the end of EP#2) its been widely speculated if an EP#3 exists for the series and if it does then it was possibly deleted or left unlisted since 2015.^{[citation needed]}

The whole storyline was: Techno telling Philza & others to act as spies for Cyberknife to then expose him for being a horrible person while he himself did other things. Unfortunately due to his passing the storyline was ultimately scrapped & the location was preserved due to Techno finishing the building. The location was actually being built by Techno during the “building on Dream SMP and then hypixel” stream. Some have joked that the storyline sounds very similar to Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars, as in the series he controlled both sides of the Clone Wars & Techno was going to play as a character trope similar to him.
• The first time Techno was banned from a Hypixel server was due to him “flying over the owners house in England however after getting muted he burnt it down” with the other first four other bans “for extreme racism combined with nodus”.
• His name was thought to be based on the Techno Blades from Season 3 of Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. However, this was later debunked by him.

• Although it's unknown if Techno watched season 1 of hit-series, Invincible. According to his father, Techno did sometimes reiterate the Omni-Man meme - “Think mark, think!” and alluded to Techno liking the character.

• His father made sure Techno watched the 1956 sci-fi film “Forbidden Planet”

• In 2016, Techno wrote a three chapter fanfiction about “Demons”. Despite being deleted, all three chapters were archived. According to Techno it was more of a “practice” story.

• Techno & his father also watched some DC related shows & cartoons. Most notably: “CW’s The Flash”, “Justice League” & “Justice League: Unlimited” growing up.
  • While playing Bedwars with ChaoticRyder & Hanna, Techno mentioned CW’s Arrowverse/The Flash TV show mentioning how in “every episode especially in Season 1” it always consisted of whenever a problem arises the “scientists” needed Barry Allen (The Flash) to do something but the “african americans” always had an alternate option with the characters choosing which side, Techno however states that Barry should “always listen to the scientists”. It isn’t until Ryder mentions his absolute disdain for Season 3 of the show until Techno states the series was “racist” due to all the “super scientists” being white but the african american characters were cops & “single dads” that don’t do anything compared to the scientists. Techno continues by mentioning that the “speed force is blatantly racist" due to what the series did to Wally West in later seasons. This has led many to strongly believe Techno watched Madvocate's "The Flash is Insufferably Inconsistent" series ^{[citation needed]}.
• Techno’s recorded POV of Tommy’s 2021 Talent Show… has not yet surfaced but has been somewhat shown in the “Minecraft's Funniest YouTuber Talent Show…”
• He & Philza really liked the Pistol death animation for Among Us.
• When Wilbur went to visit Techno & his family in San Francisco he climbed up the families apple tree to help pick the apples however when Techno insulted Wilbur on his throwing, Wilbur wicked an apple at Techno’s shoulder where he got surgery and Techno stood there holding his shoulder until the pain stopped. 30 or so minutes later Techno's mother let him eat apple pie with them for dinner.
• To honor the Blood God, a potato farm and a shrine (with Technoblade's signature crown) was built on top of the wall of Quesadilla Island - right next to Philza's house (one of Technoblade's bestfriend and Minecraft "Father").
• His father revealed under one of his video descriptions that Technoblade's favorite dessert was Devil's Food Cake with Chocolate Frosting.

• Originally, Alex wanted his final video, “So Long Nerds” to be longer. According to his father, he left him some instructions for the final video on a Google Doc but due to deadlines ^{[citation needed]} & copyright, sacrifices had to be made. Initially Alex wanted photos of him with both Wilbur, himself & Philza near the end of the video to display on screen like a slideshow with the “outro/photo slideshow” having its own theme song, that song being “The Killers-Enterlude and Exitlude” which was a combination of both tracks due to their connections & meanings. Techno also played the song a few times everyday in May/June 2022.
• According to his father, Techno had “big ideas” on doing more content in VR.
• In January 2023, Tubbo accidentally found one of Techno’s hidden house’s which served as a small chicken & carrot farm on the Origins SMP server hidden underground. He found it by accident while trying to find a place to build a new house. In the chest above the sign inside his “house” were generic items however were four “cat” music discs. Tubbo respectfully didn’t move or touch anything & attempted to build a fence to preserve it.
• During the last few weeks of his life, Techno watched a lot of various Youtube videos. According to his father, it primarily consisted of him watching “current event stuff”, “current science stuff”, a few Mr. Beast videos, a couple Solid.JJ videos & he watched “How Horsetamer was meant to be played” a couple times.
• His Iphone still works and was used by his father & TommyInnit to aid in finishing the “Technoblade VS 100 Minecraft YouTubers” video.
