Patrick (born: June 7, 1994 (1994-06-07)), better known online as TheProfessional (also known as polish-mercenary or simply Pro), is a Polish-American YouTuber known for his gaming videos, predominantly Grand Theft Auto.

Beginning

TheProfessional created his account on November 28, 2015, under the name TheGamingEmperor and 2 days later uploaded his first video which was 5 minutes long titled: Boba Fett Ownage Gameplay. He had stated that his initial plan was to start a Star Wars channel until he decided that he wanted to create videos on other games (particularly Grand Theft Auto Online.) He made two Assassins Creed Syndicate videos (one of which was a live stream) and one Star Wars: Battlefront video along with several Just Cause 3 live streams, it wasn't until he started making news videos, reactions, gaming live streams and especially his money guides for Grand Theft Auto Online that his channel gained a lot of attention, his views and subscribers began swiftly multiplying. After seeing his channel performing to a considerably higher standard, he decided it was time to focus on making YouTube content, meaning that he would produce videos more frequently, as well as drop the TheGamingEmperor persona and change his channel name to TheProfessional as it is known today. He states the reason he changed his name to TheProfessional was because he thought TheGamingEmperor was getting cheesy, he decided on the new name because he said that he likes professional armed transport robbery films such as Heat and that Kane and Lynch, Grand Theft Auto and Payday are some of his favorite games.

Now

Today TheProfessional produces a varying range of content from gaming, discussing current events, doing game story lore videos and explaining parts of history that games are significantly influenced/based on. Most of his video game walkthroughs include him dressing up as the main character, he calls these videos cosplay playthroughs. TheProfessional is one of the most well-known members of the Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Online 'money grinding' community and he had made money guides for both Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Online the money guides are still relevant for the most part, each guide is designed to suit different play styles. He had taken a break from making Grand Theft Auto Online videos, but he is now back to making videos and streaming GTA Online on his PS5. He is famous for amassing over GTA$1,000,000,000 in GTA Online as well as over $100,000 in Red Dead Online legitimately. He is against in-game 'griefers' (players who destroy your cargo for no reason) and he used to make videos where he fought with them in-game. These videos were very popular, but he stopped making videos like that, because he doesn't like giving griefers attention. TheProfessional plans on streaming GTA Online until Rockstar releases GTA VI, before then he mentioned uploading the final and best money guide he’s ever made so far for GTA Online, which he claims could help you make about GTA$30,000,000 a week. He presents an update and supporter shout out video at the end of every month discussing future plans and ideas. His channel additionally maintains a streaming schedule; Fridays and Sundays usually starting around 3-5 PM EST US Time. (As well as a monthly exclusive stream for his channel members and Patreon supporters.) He recently expanded his content to grow a wider audience because he doesn't want his channel to be seen as just a Grand Theft Auto based channel; He is doing this by uploading walkthroughs where he cosplays the characters he's playing as and 'crazy current event' news videos more often than he previously did.

On November 11, 2021, TheProfessional reached one million subscribers. Around the same time, he moved from New York to somewhere upper Midwest as he had mentioned in several videos.

Channel Icon

TheProfessional designed his channel logo himself using a custom South Park character style. It is designed in a South Park character style with as Jason Voorhees style mask. TheProfessional's Grand Theft Auto Online character heavily resembles his icon, but with a different mask and different eyes.

Rental Properties

The rental properties Patrick talks about a lot, costed him about $379,000 and $360,000 totaling to about $740,000.
The first property was bought in the year 2022. Two years later in 2024 around April, he bought another property. Patrick plans to buy a third property and thinks he'll be done at that point.
The reasons for buying the properties were to diversify his income and to keep his money safely invested in land and real estate, because he didn't like his money idling in the bank and losing value due to inflation.
TheProfessional says he could live off the rental properties alone, but says he enjoys his YouTube job.

DDoSed and Threatened

On July 5, 2017, Professional uploaded a video on how a player DDoSed him in GTA Online, the person who DDoSed him was named Ascended-Big.

The reason why the person DDoSed him was because in GTA Online, Ascended and his friends were near their Cocaine Factory, which Pro thought they could have been doing cargo, he was on his Oppressor MK.1 and landed almost close to them so he can go to his Cocaine Factory, Ascended and his friends all got scared thinking that Pro was going destroy their cargo, but Pro never griefs in GTA. So then Ascended and his friends started to kill him multiple times, despite trying to send them messages, and telling them he was friendly and just wants to go to his factory, they did not listen and still kept killing him. When Pro finally got inside his lab, Ascended-Big sent him a message and said, "Then do it in passive" (which makes the player unable to use their weapons, but they won't get hurt or killed by other plays)

Then Pro sent a message to him and tells him "If you want a war, you'll get a war" so then he calls some of his friends and fights Ascended and his friends, and this triggered Ascended off and then he starts to threatened him, he manages to find his location and starts to DDoS him and sent him a final message which said "Have fun with no internet", which he ends up shutting his internet off for 2 hours, After his internet was off, he did say he was going to file a support ticket with Sony and report the guy.
