Gabrielle Jeanette "Gabbie" Hanna (born: February 7, 1991), also known as The Gabbie Show (formerly Gabbie Hanna), is an American vlogger, musician, actress, and author. She started her career on the short form video service Vine, under the name The Gabbie Show, then started a YouTube channel with the same name a year later.
Personal life[]
Gabbie was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, United States. She graduated from the University of Newcastle, where she completed a degree in Psychology, Communications and a minor in Economics. After graduating from college, she worked for a marketing company that sold products out of a Sam's Club; she became the top salesperson in the United States for the company and moved to Cleveland, Ohio, to help start a new branch of the company. However, she departed after realizing that they relied on a pyramid scheme.
She later moved to Los Angeles, California, United States to work with Buzzfeed. Later on she would gain fame from her work on Vine account Gabbie continued to work for Buzzfeed but would eventually part ways with the brand to focus on YouTube and Vine.
Hanna has openly discussed her struggles with ADHD, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, C-PTSD, and body dysmorphic disorder.
In an interview with Adam22, she stated she was raised Catholic and believes in God, but does not agree with some Catholic stances, such as on homosexuality and sex before marriage.
On July 3, 2019, Hanna announced she purchased a new house for USA $2.2 million.
It was revealed in January of 2024 that Gabbie Hanna had moved back to her hometown following her break from social media, and had gotten a job as a fitness instructor at her local YMCA.[1]

She saw some people on Vine that made her laugh, so she joined in on a hashtag on Vine. Since then she got popular. Due to Vine closing down, her last video uploaded was on October 30, 2016 and her account ended with 4.9 million followers.
YouTube[]
Gabbie created her YouTube channel in 2014 as another way to interact with her audience. Since Vine videos were only up to 6 seconds, on YouTube she is able to make longer videos which generally consists of comedy vlogs and music. She would and still makes tag videos with YouTubers and other Viners. She also does Q&As and Story Time videos.
Username[]
When she first started on Vine, Gabbie originally had her real name as her username, but then changed it to The Gabbie Show after she started getting popular, believing that she would not be able to get a job with her name out in the public. The name ‘The Gabbie Show’ comes from when she was younger. Due to the way she acted as a child, she would walk into a room and people would say "Here comes The Gabbie Show" and then made it into a positive message. In November 2017, she changed that username into her current username which consists of her shortened first and real last name for unspecified reasons.

Gabbie started to venture into the music industry when she released her debut single "Out Loud". The single was released for digital download on September 6, 2017 as her debut single. It was written by Hanna and Bruce Wiegner, with production solely handled by the latter. The lyrics of the track, a ballad, have been described as emotive. They discuss on themes of loss, loneliness and heartbreak. She later released singles "Satellite", "Honestly", and "Monster", the latter of which became an internet meme. Gabbie is currently an independent artist, which she self funds her own music without the help of music record label.
2WayMirror[]
2WayMirror is the debut extended play by Gabbie Hanna, released independently on May 31, 2019. The EP includes the lead single "Medicate". Hanna has said the EP was inspired by one of her ex-boyfriends, who was in a YouTube video she posted. Hanna made the EP available for pre-sale on May 18, 2019. The album debuted at number 126 on the US Billboard 200 and number 4 on the Billboard Independent chart.
Bad Karma[]
Bad Karma is the second extended play by Gabbie Hanna, which was released on May 15, 2020. The first single from the EP, "Dandelion", was released on April 17, 2020, and the second single, "Glass House", was released on May 1, 2020

Controversy[]
Altercation with Rachel Oates[]
Rachel Oates reviewed Gabbie Hanna's poetry books and thought it was terrible. When Gabbie wrote her next book, she sent Rachel a copy of it pre-release to hear her thoughts on it, and once Rachel reviewed it and gave her honest opinion on it, saying it was awful, Gabbie resorted to making an Instagram story where she called Rachel a bitch and several other names[2], accusing her of bullying, and tagging her in Instagram so her followers would go and harass her[3]. She also harassed Angelika Oles in a similar fashion[4].
