Tobias Endigo Öberg Skyborn[1] (born: March 10, 1992 (1992-03-10) [age 32])[citation needed], better known online as The Story of Endigo (formerly Endigo), is a Swedish[citation needed] YouTuber and musician[citation needed] who formerly lived in Japan[citation needed] and who uploads original music and remixes of certain songs.

History[]

They have been musically trained since an early age, starting to sing in choirs at age 6 and learning to play the guitar at age 10.[2] Years later, Endigo would begin to play in bands, including T.A.J (Lead guitar and composer from 2002-2004), Alternate Journey (Lead guitarist and composer from 2004-2008), Bad Luck (Lead guitar and programmer from 2007-2008), Still Echo (Lead guitar and composer from 2009-2011), Sounthesia (Lead guitar, lead vocals, composer, and producer from 2008-2013), Sonic Vanity (Engineer, producer, and composer for 2013), and Overworld (Lead vocals from 2012-2014). Currently, she is the producer, composer, and lead vocalist of comedy duo NANDA?! alongside Kitcha (Since 2014) and vocalist of art metal band BatAAr (Since 2016 until 2019 when the band split).[3] She also has a self-titled solo project that began in 2015 with the release of the song "Promised Land" on January 24. Later on December 11, 2015, a full album named "Year of Independence" was released on his Bandcamp account. [citation needed]

Sometime in 2011, Endigo created a YouTube account and she released her first video titled "Years Egisinal - Gå och lägg dig Petri" on June 14 of the same year (which was removed on July 8, 2017 along with other old videos[4]). No other content was released for over a year, releasing her next video, "Singing Snape" on June 30, 2012 (also removed on July 8). Another hiatus would follow until May 29, 2013, where Endigo uploaded his first Q&A video (once again, removed since July 8) and began actively using the channel. As of February 18, 2017, Endigo's channel has over 25,300 subscribers. Outside of his main channel, Endigo used to co-run a Swedish only channel with Maya Fennec called "Endigo & Maya" this channel whilst still live is inactive due to Endigo and Maya no longer being together.[citation needed]

Endigo launched Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts during all of this.

An acapella cover of "Once Upon a Time" that Endigo released on April 10, 2016 has been officially announced to be used as the opening theme for MusicTale, going under the name of "Once Upon an Acapella".[citation needed]

On 24th February 2022, Endigo came out as Non-Binary identifying with any pronouns (she/her, he/him or they/them in particular)[5] though Endigo is commonly known through the use of he/they pronouns. Whilst no announcement has been made regarding this since Endigo came out as trans, its to be assumed given the accustomary and her Twitter that she/her is the best used so this page has been updated accordingly.

On 6th February 2023, it was announced that Endigo would be competing on Season 1 of Drag Race Sverige.[6]

In November 2023, Endigo came out as a transgender woman not long after moving back to Sweden.[7]

DanTDM Songs[]

Endigo's popularity on YouTube grew even more when she released a series of original songs about DanTDM.

The first song was written after DanTDM and Endigo agreed to do a song, but after 8 months nothing happened; the first song was a mostly played for laughs "villain arc" expressing Endigo's wish for DanTDM to make a song with her. For the second song, it was about DanTDM reacting to the first song and making Endigo a joke by comparing her to the villainous version of himself on a YouTube Red series. The third song was about Endigo feeling as if DanTDM is as evil as her, and the video mainly features Endigo interviewing people about if they thought DanTDM was a hero or a villain. When the fourth song was made, it was an apology to DanTDM for everything bad she done to him. The fifth song was about Endigo hoping she hasn't ruined DanTDM's reputation too much in the third song, and is mainly about her garnering reasons why Dan will be allowed into Japan if he makes a song with Endigo. The sixth song was Endigo officially giving up chasing after DanTDM writing a song with him.[citation needed]

  • Endigo produces background tracks for songs as well as doing vocals and background tracks for songs, as seen in her songs inspired by Poppy Playtime series.[citation needed]
