The White House is the official YouTube channel that is owned by the White House of the United States which is used for official purposes which does not include campaigning.

Content[]

There are many different things in this channel such as short clips of the president making a statement, debriefings, and the State of the Union addresses. Some of the videos include presidential duties such as attending different countries, and signing bills. The video ranges from less than a minute to over 3 and a half hours.

At the end of each administration the videos get moved to another channel which shows a sharp drop in view counts on Social Blade and the Wayback Machine.

Trivia[]

  • The videos by the previous presidents are transfered to another channel owned by the US National Archives (NARA) after their administration ends.
  • The videos are public domain because they are works of the US federal government.
