Tinashe Jorgensen Kachingwe (born: February 6, 1993 (1993-02-06) [age 32]) is an American singer known for her music and collaborations.

Life[]

Kachingwe was born on February 6, 1993, in Lexington, Kentucky. She and her family moved to Los Angeles, California when she was 8 years old. At age 4, she studied ballet and dance, and was a part of a dance company where she would compete in various styles.

Career[]

Kachingwe starred in numerous movies and TV shows in her teenage years. In 2007, she joined girl group "The Stunners", signing with Columbia Records, later signing a deal with Lionsgate Entertainment. The group released many songs, an EP, and appeared on The Today Show and as an opening act on Justin Bieber's "My Would Tour". The group disbanded in 2011, which led to her pursuing a solo career.

In June 2011, she uploaded her first solo music video, which was a cover of Lil Wayne's 'How To Love". She released a debut solo mixtape called In Case We Die in February 2012, which gained notoriety. Her second mixtape, Reverie was released in September 2012, which featured 3 singles sold at different dates.

In 2012, she signed with RCA Records, which caused the release of Reverie. From August to November 2012, many remixes of songs from her mixtapes leaked online.

Channel[]

Kachingwe created her channel on January 6, 2011, and she uploaded her first video on January 25, 2011. She firstly uploaded vlog videos, with the first video being a home recording of her in 1997. Some singing videos were also uploaded, and so were a few home recordings. Her first music video was uploaded on September 14, 2011, and has continued to upload them.
