Lea^{[citation needed]}, aka Toon Ruins is an American^{[citation needed]} artist, autism activist and YouTuber who aims to explain the meaning, symbolism and history behind your animated media, making episode reviews, video essays, theories, analysis, social commentary and research videos all based on animation. She has analyzed and reviewed several shows such as The Big Bang Theory, Miraculous Ladybug, Steven Universe, The Owl House, Infinity Train and animated movies from Disney/Pixar.^{[citation needed]}

Content

Lea started out making videos of Steven Universe. These were mostly fan theories (like suspecting Pearl shattered Pink Rose) or debates, like if Rose Quartz was a good person. However her first video was a YTP. Most of her videos were centered around Pearl, Rose Quartz and White Diamond, though sometimes she would explain themes of Steven Universe too . She states that Steven Universe changed her life and helped her deal with her own issues, praising it for its portrayal of emotional strength. She also reviewed Netflix originals such as Carmen Sandiego and Hilda before deciding to center her channel's focus on social commentary of media in general.

She is on the autistic spectrum and is very vocal about the treatment of autistic people both in real life and in media. After the ending of Steven Universe, most of her content focused on Infinity Train and Miraculous Ladybug.

She is also known for her "Badly Explained" series, where she badly explains shows like The Owl House, Inifnity Train and Steven Universe Future.
