Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson (born: July 27, 1992), better known professionally as Tory Lanez, is a Canadian musician.
Early life[]
Tory was born on July 27, 1992, in Brampton, Ontario. Tory was known to practice and refine his rapping skills throughout his childhood. He played at outdoor concerts at age 17.
Career[]
Tory released his debut mixtape T.L 2 T.O. in 2009. He directed and created music videos which he would eventually release on YouTube. Between 2015 and 2016, Tory gained more popularity from releasing videos and mixtapes, and went on many tours across America. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, he hosted “Quarantine Radio” on Instagram Live.
