Trickle (birthday: January 7), formerly known as Jinzo/J10/, is a musician and VTuber on YouTube who is known for his original music and covers, mostly English covers of Japanese music. Trickle occasionally streams on YouTube and has played games such as Genshin Impact and Phasmophobia. Trickle runs completely off the support from Patreon, as his covers on YouTube are not monetized, and has stated that he strives to make YouTube his career.

History[]

While his channel was created in 2015, Trickle initially debuted as Jinzo/J10/ in November 2016 with his now-unlisted cover of Love Trial.^[1] He eventually changed his channel name to Trickle.

Trickle released his cover of Wozwald on August 9, 2019, which is the first listed cover seen on his channel. He gained a lot of traction over a year later when he covered KING by Kanaria on September 16, 2020 and later Usseewa by Ado on December 11, 2020, the latter of which currently stands as his most popular cover. On July 3rd, 2021, Trickle uploaded "Ghost Town", his first ever original song. In 2023, popular animator SAD-ist had Trickle remaster Ghost Town for her animation Blue Lies loosely based on "The Stanley Parable" Video game, gathering a lot of attention to Trickle.^[2]

Trickle announced all of his original songs were connected under "Project Ghost Town".^[3] In October 2023, he announced he would be creating manga to expand on the "Ghost Town" universe, some of which is now available on his Patreon.^[4]

Trickle used to stream on his Twitch, however he decided to move all of his operations to YouTube. Trickle created his second channel, Trickle Live, just for Livestreaming. He now just streams on his main channel, leaving Trickle Live inactive.

Homunculus was released to celebrate Trickle's 50k subscriber milestone.
When writing a song, Trickle likes to write a poem to get his thoughts on paper, and to get an idea of what he wants the song to convey.^[5]
Trickle was working on a highly requested collaboration with Will Stetson; however plans fell through, and it never released.
Trickle's favorite video game is Sonic Adventure 2.
On his official Discord, Trickle announced what was going to be his first original song, tentatively titled "Greed". This never released, as his first original was Ghost Town.^[6]
