Nischay Malhan (Hindi: निश्चय मल्हन; born: November 14, 1993 ), better known online as Triggered Insaan, is a Delhi-based Indian YouTuber, roaster and Minecraft and GTA livestreamer known for his commentaries, roasts, rants and reaction videos on his YouTube channel, often revolving around Bollywood and Indian media, as well as social media influencers.
He also has a gaming channel called Live Insaan where he uploads gaming Videos like GTA, Minecraft, and formerly Getting Over It.
History[]
When he studied in college, he attended classes alongside a dropper who was repeating a few courses, who would often come to his hostel room and play GTA 5. Nischay was allowed to play it for a small amount of time, but this interest in gaming led him to buy a gaming laptop for the first time.[1]
After he received placement for an internship, he only served for a day before he quit. In his interview with 1Up Gaming, Nischay states that he stayed up overnight recording a video for his channel, which was when he decided that he wanted to become a YouTuber.[2]
The first gameplays he uploaded were of Dota 2.
Before coming to the name Triggered Insaan, he first named his channel "Yes-Yes-Bhai", because his name translates to "certainty" in English. After that, he named it "It's Nischay", and then again to Triggered Insaan to make sure people could pronounce the channel name correctly.[2] He has received some amount of criticism for "copying" the commentary style of CarryMinati, but after their collaboration, both have confirmed that the assumption is not true.
Collaborations[]
Triggered Insaan first started collaborating with Mythpat on April 26, 2020, in GTA 5, where they played online together completing heists. The series was successful, and had two more episodes.
