TruTV is an American cable channel owned by Turner Networks. It was launched on January 1, 2008.
History[]
Before truTV, there was an original cable channel taking its place, which was CourtTV. On that channel, it showed movies and series relating to true crime and legal analysis. In 2008, it became truTV, but on May 8, 2019, it became a digital broadcast television network.
TruTV had launched many shows and named their daytime coverage In Session. One of its most notable shows, Impractical Jokers, released on December 15, 2011. In April 2014, truTV announced it would switch towards comedy and started to released more "comedy-based" shows and movies.

The channel was created on February 26, 2008, and the first video was uploaded on the same day. Clips from their shows are usually uploaded to the channel.
