I personally don't understand why the Fourth of July is the biggest celebration across the world. Canada day was three days ago, and it was pretty mundane for me. No fireworks, no overly priced German sausages, no waking up in dumpsters in Nova Scotia after getting wasted on cheap wine shipped from Bordeaux. I literally sat in my dorm, didn't drink (because I'm not of age), and had a small picnic in Kariya Park with my friends. I really don't understand the hype over this. Sure it's a long time for the country to be around, but Canada is only 91 years behind. If someone could explain all of this to me that would be great.
