Viddal Ethan Danso Riley (born: July 7, 1997 (1997-07-07) [age 26]) is an English professional boxer. He is widely recognised as being the former boxing trainer of YouTube personality KSI.

Riley represented England at the EUBC European Junior Boxing Championships in Anapa, Russia in 2013.

Early life

Riley was born on 7 July 1997 in Hackney, London. He attended Duke's Aldridge Academy in the Northumberland Park area of Tottenham in the London Borough of Haringey, England.

Career

Amateur career

Riley started his boxing career at six years old when he was introduced to the sport by his father Derrick Riley. In his amateur career, he went on to collect eight national championships, a European Junior Silver Medal and also became a 2014 Youth Olympian for Team GB. As an amateur, Riley had a record of 41-8 (19 KO’s).

Professional career

As a professional he is undefeated with 3 wins out of 3 bouts with 2 knockouts. He is currently signed with Mayweather Promotions. Riley also competed for Team GB in the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games in 2014 and won silver at the Junior European Championships in Anapa, Russia.

Riley made his professional debut on 30 November 2018 at the Big Punch Arena in Tijuana, Mexico against Julio Manuel Gonzalez, beating Gonzalez by a knockout in the first round. Riley's second professional fight was against American Mitchell Spangler at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on 19 January 2019, as part of the undercard for Manny Pacquiao vs. Adrien Broner. The bout was stopped in the first round and the referee declared Riley the winner by TKO. Riley's third professional fight was against Austine Nnamdi on 3 May 2019. Riley secured a unanimous decision win bringing his career record to 3-0.

Online presence

Riley's training of YouTube personality KSI for his fight against Logan Paul and subsequent rematch brought him large publicity and exposure. After AnEsonGib's loss to Jake Paul, Riley announced that he will no longer be coaching boxers, instead he will push his own boxing career forward.
