Joey, better known online as Veridis Joe, is an American YouTuber and artist, known for making reviews and reactions on cartoons, anime, and the animation community.

Content

Joe reviews anime, animated movies, and cartoons. He also discusses social issues in cartoons such as the representation of race, sexuality, and disability. As a black enby, he talks about black representation in cartoons and comics and how it affects black kids. He has made videos on queerbaiting and "invisible" representation. He is also a huge fan of Netflix's Voltron and defends its most controversial events, including the ending.

He encourages positivity and honesty when it comes to loving cartoons and media and says being negative all the time is annoying. Sometimes he will make 'comparison' videos and compare different media franchises, for example, has compared the old and new She-Ra series designs, and also compare sidekicks like Jake the Dog/Rigby from Adventure Time/Regular Show.

He also talks about "bad" fanbases, and how one should not be afraid to love something just because it is associated with a terrible fanbase. He has also praised cartoons that most of the YouTube cartoon community dislikes. Joey believes that cartoon reviewers and fanbases are too harsh on media. He is also critical of anime fans.
