VidCon is an annual convention for influencers, fans executives, and online brands. The event primarily features prominent video stars from across the internet, and its owned by Paramount Global.

VidCon was stated from 2010, the founders are the Green brothers (namely John Green and Hank Green) make an idea for convention for online creators like YouTubers,[1] on July 9, 2010, the Green Brothers announced that the VidCon 2010 was took place to Hyatt Regency Century Plaza hotel in Los Angeles until it sold out, it gain over a 1,400 people attend the convention.

Acquired by Paramount Global[]

On 2018, Paramount Global (ViacomCBS) announced that they are acquiring VidCon at the first place, until 2019, it was owned completely.[2]

2020-2021 hiatus[]

In March 2021, VidCon announced that it would host its next U.S. conference at the Anaheim Convention Center from October 22–24, 2021, delayed from its usual summer scheduling in order to increase the chance that an in-person event could be held. VidCon also announced that TikTok would be the top sponsor of the 2021 event, replacing YouTube who had been the main sponsor since 2013, until on 2022, it was finally returned.[3]

The channel was created on August 8, 2006, until it uploads on 2010, until it was uploaded of moments on VidCon every year.
