Exoid is a Roblox YouTuber with over 34,000 subscribers.
Q1: How and when did you discover YouTube?
- I discovered it when I was trying to learn things in Minecraft back in second grade.
Q2: Do you remember what the first video you ever watched is?
- The first ever one that I still remember were stop motion tutorials and Minecraft videos .
Q3: How many videos do you estimate you have watched in your lifetime?
- Way too much, easily over 10 thousand. I’ve like over 5k videos. (it says on my playlists).
Q4: Which YouTuber do you enjoy watching the most right now?
- I’m a huge fan of the Sidemen and JackSucksAtLife.
Q5: Who is the most subscribed YouTuber that subscribes to you?
- The most subscribed channel (that I can see and who’s made their subscriptions public) is this channel called “BaltimoreAndOhioRR” and they have over 158k subs, they subbed when I first started my channel.
Q6: Who was the first YouTube channel you were a fan of?
- I used to love Stampylonghead and Bajan Canadian, and a number of other Minecraft YouTubers.
Q7: What genre do you think is the best/most enjoyable genre on YouTube right now?
- Challenge/vlogs type videos, like Sidemen and MrBeast type videos.
Q8: Do you enjoy uploading Fortnite or Roblox content more?
- I used to love streaming Fortnite, but over time I’ve grown into Roblox and I’m not the biggest fan of Fortnite anymore. (I’ve actually started Fortnite in season 1, check my insta for proof XD, but after a while I hated to see them take away all the things I loved, like dusty and many others).
Q9: Have you been affected by COPPA a lot?
- Not at all! I haven’t seen any COPPA effects on my channel.
Q10: Which YouTuber is your biggest influence right now?
- The Sidemen, I really want to grow my channel, and once I reach a point where I’m okay with my subs, i want to make content like they do and entertain viewers!
Q11: What is your favorite Supercell game?
- Clash Royale!
Q12: Your most viewed video is a Brawl Stars one, do you feel like uploading more of it?
- Not at all, I feel like that video blew up by luck, I’ve had that video for 5 months previously and it was sitting at 60 views, suddenly I woke up and it’s at 10k views, and after a few months it’s at a million views! I’m not planning to do more of that.
Q13: Do you think you should choose your friends more wisely after almost being raided twice?
- Yes, I have these two very close online friends, ones name is Ayman, another is Jade. They have stuck with me since the beginning, the others who raided and betrayed me was people I met along the way on the journey, but we met right in the start when I first started streaming Roblox content, so I’m not choosing any more people to have any power, even if I slowly trust them, you never know who’s only there because they want something.
Q14: How did you come up with Exoid as your channel name?
- I spammed my keyboard, (no joke).
Q15: You have over 34k subscribers, did you ever think you would reach this many?
- Not really, but once I reached 10k, I was not surprised at all, since it was my first year of YouTube, I felt like I could accomplish more. I’ve watched my channel grow from scratch and there’s no difference seeing it at 9k than at 10k, I’m grateful for whatever I have. I’m not u happy at 9.99k and super excited at 10k.
Q16: What is your dream job?
- Being a YouTuber XD.
Q17: If you were the CEO of YouTube, what would you change?
- Change COPPA, and we should have a program that allows smaller YouTubers to get chosen to join events and get more exposure. Like a system where some people look for channels that make original content and are hard working, then put them on creator on the rise or something.
Q18: Do you watch your videos after you upload them?
- Never, I don’t like to watch my own things and hear my own voice.
Q19: Do you edit your own videos, if so, what do you use?
- Very little editing is needed at the moment. I use and have multiple softwares, like after effects, premiere pro, imovie, etc.
Q20: Do you design your own thumbnails, if so, what do you use?
- I use photoshop and a website called iPiccy.
Q21: Your life dream goal is to gain 100k subscribers, when do you think you’ll reach this goal?
- Hopefully within a year!
Q22: Have you bought any other YouTubers’ merch, if so, whose?
- I’ve never bought merch! But I’m planning on buying the merch of my friend YouTubers!
Q23: Have you been to any gaming conventions? If not, do you plan on going to any?
- I have not! And I can’t wait to go to one and experience one! That's definitely on my bucket list!!
Q24: Minecraft or Roblox?
- Minecraft is such a good game, but in my opinion Roblox has a lot more content. This is a hard decision, I believe they are both equally as fun, but Roblox is the game I play most!
Q25: Have you ever done an interview like this before?
- I have never XD, this is a first!
