On a wiki, many types of users have access to different functions of the site. While anyone can do most things on the site, including reading and editing. Moderators are users who have additional tools available to moderate specific parts of Wikitubia.

Becoming a Moderator

Content Moderator

In order to become a content moderator, you must be an outstanding or constant contributor to the site. You should also be able to find lost pages that do not contain information or have less than 500 subscribers from time to time.

Discussion Moderator

In order to become a discussion moderator, you must be a very active contributor to the discussions board, or in the comments of an article. You should be able to report a post in the discussions tab or comment on Wikitubia time to time.

What Moderators can do

Content Moderators

  • Editing/moving fully protected pages.
  • Deleting or undeleting pages or files.
  • Editing/moving protected files.
  • Rollback.
  • Renaming files.
  • Protecting/unprotecting pages.
  • Patrolling pages.
  • Deleting article comments.

Discussions Moderators

  • Removing/restoring threads and replies by any user.
  • Closing/Reopening threads.
  • Manage Forum boards.
  • Delete blog comments.
  • Editing and deleting article comments
  • Moderating the Discussions feature.
