The October 2023 bureaucrat vacancy vote was a site-wide election that took place from October 1, 2023 to October 6, 2023, between administrators Enayy, a prominent user who has consistently been popular and active since 2021, and Tabbloide, a user who is newer than their opponent and rose to prominence in 2022. The vacancy process began on August 23, 2023, when bureaucrat Cluckster announced that he will be stepping down as bureaucrat on January 1, 2024.[1] This vote was held to determine the bureaucrat who holds the symbolic title of Head of Moderation. Many speculated beforehand that the vote would be very contested bureaucrat vote, and the most in the site's history. In the end, Enayy had won with a margin of 22%, more than expected. This was the 3rd bureaucrat selection vote that occurred on Wikitubia.
