Matthew Woodworth (born: February 19, 1973 (1973-02-19) [age 51]), better known online as WoodysGamertag is an ex-Call Of Duty and Minecraft YouTuber who now uploads podcast and paramotoring videos.

History[]

He created his channel on December 17th, 2009, and uploaded his first video on December 20th, 2009.[1] He uploaded his most popular video on May 7th, 2011 about a dog collar.[2]

He started gaining popularity in late 2010 through Call of Duty gameplay along with background commentary. This format quickly made his channel blow up hitting over 500,000 subscribers by late 2011.

He also made friends with many other YouTubers such as WingsofRedemption and FPSRussia. He made a podcast called Painkiller Already, or simply PKA, which also gained popularity.

He continued gaining popularity in 2012 by making the same style of content. His channel hit it's peak popularity from November 2012 to January 2013, hitting 1 million subscribers in December 2012.

However, Call of Duty started losing popularity with the next game, Call of Duty Ghosts, predicting to fail miserably in 2013. With more "trolls" coming in he decided to switch content in the summer of 2013 to Minecraft, which was the most popular game in the world at that time, videos instead, with his channel hitting 1.2 million subscribers. However, his fanbase disliked this style of videos. With him kicking WingsofRedemption off his podcast and many other choices he started to lose subscribers and fans.
