Shawn Joseph "Jack" Sullivan Jr. (born: September 3, 1998 (1998-09-03) [age 27]), better known online as Xplodin Apple (also known as Xplodin Film, formerly known as jsullivan1998), is an American YouTuber, comedian and gamer.

History[]

Jack created his main channel, Xplodin Film, in 2009 which was formerly called jsullivan1998. He didn’t upload anything until early 2012 where he uploaded a skit called Real Life Angry Birds[1], he then later on went to create his now-dead channels Jack Sullivan and SuperJackSullivan2 where he would upload skits or gaming vids onto there. After a couple skits on his main channel, he then moved onto Angry Birds Craptastic Adventures and suddenly forgot his other channels in under a year.

Angry Birds Craptastic Adventures[]

Beginning[]

Angry Birds Craptastic Adventures (or ABCA for short) is a well-known series that started in early 2012 and ended on late 2015. The series started off with an episode called The Babysitter where the characters from Angry Birds were replaced by plushies and the setting takes place in a house rather than an island.[2]

Growth[]

Overtime, the series slowly started to get bigger and bigger mostly from its slapstick humor. After the 13th episode, the series began to grow in rapid popularity.[3]

The Movie[]

In between some episodes, there were 3 trailers for the Angry Birds Craptastic Movie and then half a month later after the third trailer, the Angry Birds Craptastic Movie released in 5 parts all released on the same day. The movie overall has over 4 million views.

The Finale[]

After his Inactivity video, he released a trailer for what seemed like the final episode.[4] Then half a month later, he released the final ABCA episode being an hour long which currently holds a over 170k views and fans refer it to “a perfect series with a perfect ending”

Inactivity[]

After the 25th episode of ABCA, nothing was heard from Jack for about 2 years.[5] At that rate, fans of Jack were getting worried about Jack’s disappearance. Suddenly, on November 7, 2015, Jack posted a video called Xplodin Apple + ABCA finished on his main channel in which he apologized for his inactivity and said that he simply lost interest into continuing the series.[6] He then made an announcement to go to his now-notable channel Xplodin Apple so he can continue his skits. Nowadays he does more gaming videos then skits. He also made an announcement that he would be ending ABCA.

For some reason, he managed to amass 50,000 subscribers during this inactivity.

A New Start[]

After another well-known series The Studder Show ended, Jack decided to upload more on his gaming channel Xplodin Apple in which he moved on to mostly playing the well-known video game Plants vs. Zombies and its other games as well with other notable PvZ YouTubers such as Wolfy Playz or ZEROxFUSIONZ. He then decided to change his main channel name to Xplodin Film just so he can start a brand new series called XF Movies, which features returning characters from both ABCA and The Studder Show. He usually uploads monthly on his main channel with usual black-and-white skits or parodies or does XF Movies.

Jack would participate in the PvZ YouTuber collab alongside the aforementioned Zero and Wolfy, Nixly, BobBox999, and Splashywashy in May 2024; the event was hosted by Deggy.[7]

Nowadays, he is more notable on his gaming channel than his main channel.

Trivia[]

  • He took the ABCA inspiration from The Cute Mario Bros.
  • He was in college, but graduated as of 2021.
  • The Xplodin Film Channel Trailer was originally supposed to be a college project for Jack.
