Keenon Dequan Ray Jackson (born: March 9, 1990 (1990-03-09) [age 34]), better known professionally as YG (short for Young Gangsta), is an American rapper known for his music.

Life[]

Jackson was born on March 9, 1990, in Compton, California. In 2006, he joined the Bloods gang in Compton.

Career[]

Jackson released a debut single with Ty Dolla $ign in 2010 called "Toot It and Boot It". In 2012, he announced he would release a debut album, which he titled "I'm 4rm Bompton", then announcing that record label CTE World would release the album. His debut album then released in 2013, but was released by Def Jam Recordings, and the name of the album was changed to My Krazy Life. He was featured in a number of songs from Jeezy and other CTE World-affiliated rappers.

He had a second studio album titled Still Krazy, which would be released in 2015. When it released, some of the songs on the album included "Twist My Fingaz", "Cash Money" featuring Krayzie Bone, and "I Want a Benz" featuring Nipsey Hussle and 50 Cent.

Channel[]

Jackson created his channel on December 12, 2011, and he uploaded his first video on March 20, 2012. He uploads music videos, audio, and lyric videos to his channel.
