Hola gente linda, ¿cómo andan? Yo soy Yao Cabrera, integrante de Dos Bros y les traigo un nuevo video!
Hello beautiful people, how are you? I am Yao Cabrera, a member of Dos Bros and I bring you a new video!

―Yao Cabrera's Intro

Yao Cabrera (born: February 18, 1997 (1997-02-18) [age 27]) is a Uruguayan YouTuber who resides in Argentina. Dedicated to pranks and hidden cameras, he has a channel with his friend Fabri Lemus called Dos Bros. He is currently a member of the VIRAL (or WIFI) team. It is quite unpopular on the platform.

Biography[]

Yao Cabrera was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, on February 18, 1997. When he was born, his parents separated. Due to her family's financial problems, they had to move frequently. His father and grandfather always supported him in everything they did. They were able to get a piece of land, where they lived in a tent for 2 weeks, while building their house. Yao at the age of 8 and 9 would ride alone on the bus to go see his mother

Yao loved soccer, and got to play in the initials of one of the best teams in Uruguay called Montevideo Wanderers. At the same time, he was studying and doing very well, just like with women.

Yao discovered social networks, but he got on it and began to be very show-off, and he would do anything to get visitors and like. Among those things were uploading pictures of disabled and sick children on Ask.fm to get attention, and doing a lot of spamming. He reached a point where he lost his friends because of the way he was, as he was willing to do anything for likes.

Gonzaa Fonseca hated Yao for being a showman, to which the latter decided that he should start to change. They forged a great friendship that still lasts to this day.

Yao, a member of Dos Bros, created a channel with Dosogas and Gonzaa Fonseca, where they were dedicated to uploading jokes.

In 2015 he started making videos on his own and grew little by little. Currently his YouTube channel has 6 million subscribers (September 2019). In his channel he uploads videos of practical jokes and social experiments with people on the street. Thanks to the latter, he has gotten into trouble.

Controversies[]

Fight with Dosogas[]

In August 2016, Mathi Sellanes, founder and member of Dosogas, accused Yao of being a pedophile, since Snapchat messages from him inviting 14 or 15-year-old girls to his apartment had been leaked and even a pornographic video was leaked.

Yao then uploaded stories to Snapchat confessing and affirming the veracity of the video.

To this day Dosogas and Dos Bros are still fighting.

The only one Yao gets along with is Juanpa (although he's a former member).

The False Stabbing[]

The controversy about Yao Cabrera and the false stabbing was a topic that circulated on YouTube during November 2016, based on the debate of the veracity of a video published by Yao Cabrera in which it was supposed to show how the YouTuber is stabbed by a drug dealer while trying to capture him. Mainly Yao Cabrera, DalasReview, AuronPlay and Mexivergas were involved in the issue. The subject was pointed out by Yao as a "social experiment", to see how far his montage would go

Beating Controversy[]

In the summer of 2017, Yao Cabrera was accused of groping an unconscious fan and kissing his 12-year-old fans. The case had a great impact, reaching television. Some time later, in December of the same year, in a park in Uruguay, Yao had a fight with some haters who beat him repeatedly. Finally, one of those haters threw Yao to the ground, giving him too intense a blow

Yao the Hypocrite[]

Yao dedicated a Disstrack to an Argentine ragman known as Duki, throwing in his face things that he had curiously done. Yao Cabrera, returned to the crossing this time accusing youtuber Frankkaster of having had relations with a minor without her consent, in his video shows he shows alleged evidence of an audio, which Frankkaster himself later denied on his YouTube channel, explaining that in reality the recording had been manipulated and edited with the sole purpose of damaging its image, it ended up deactivating likes and comments

Identity Theft[]

In August 2019, youtuber Luisito Comunica made a video in which he proposed to meet a 60-year-old man named Sergio Ramírez to invite him to travel with him, since according to a comment, Sergio did not know the sea and had never left the country. It was later discovered that Sergio Ramírez was a veterinarian from Cuernavaca, Mexico. This had a great impact among Luisito Comunica's fans, and even well-known YouTubers began to look for him and made multiple videos on the subject, and even Sergio Ramírez's channel reached one million subscribers in less than 20 days

On August 21, 2019, a 16-year-old Uruguayan named Emanuel Riveiro "hacked" Sergio Ramírez's channel with 1M subs, and uploaded a video explaining that his intention was for Sergio to communicate with Luisito, but later it is said that Yao Cabrera bought the channel from Emanuel Rivieiro in exchange for an Instagram account with more than 100,000 subscribers. Emanuel made some videos with Yao Cabrera but apparently Yao set him up, and decided to hire an actor to impersonate Sergio Ramírez and upload videos to Sergio's channel, which said that if they wanted to know the truth they would download an application called Firework, with which Yao Cabrera made money. More than 3 videos were recorded, one was even recorded at a veterinarian, and he even edited an image of Emanuel Riveiro and put it as if it were a reflection to accuse him. In addition, the links that Yao put on Sergio Ramírez's channel were links to his videos (including Jefes de YouTube, his recent song that has more dislikes than likes) thus giving him fame and money. The truth was later revealed that Yao Cabrera had hired an actor and paid him to make his videos. To defend himself, he blamed Mathi for what happened, which he denied everything in one of his videos. From there, many unsubscribed from their channel, causing their subscription percentage to drop, while increasing their income and popularity

Case of Sexual Abuse of the Youtuber Caeli[]

On November 9, 2019, YouTuber Caeli uploaded a dramatic video in which she relates that several male friends of Yao Cabrera put substances in her water bottle during a party, supposedly to drug her and that Yao and the other men sexually abused her. The next day, Caeli returned to attend another party where several people tried to harass her. It is worth mentioning that Caeli did not give any name self-incriminating himself, in addition to committing the stupidity of publishing not only Caeli's phone number and the pornographic video of him that was leaked a few years ago, but also traveling to his home in Los Angeles alone. to take photos and threaten her, further increasing suspicions towards him

Legal situation[]

On December 2, 2020, Yao and 32 other people were arrested for organizing a clandestine party, violating preventive isolation. In addition, they discovered that he was evading taxes and possessing drugs in his home. Apart from all this, they also discovered that he asked a friend of his to falsify testimonies to avoid jail, as a result of the party.

In the end the 32 people who attended the party were released, although subject to investigation.

In September 2022, Yao was elevated to an oral trial for corruption of minors and possession of child pornography, the actions against him were started by members of the WIFI/Viral team, and due to this, he is currently prohibited from leaving the country.
