“Controversy” with Preston[]

On July 2023, Preston uploaded a video where he, Majied, Chase, Josh and Caleb break 100 Minecraft world records other YouTubers previously held.[1]

On July 12, 2024, Yeah Jaron uploaded a video that debunks most of the records in Preston's video and claims he cheated all of them.[2] Jaron, with the anonymous help of rekrap2, showcase multiple different calculations and reasons as to why some of the records were cheated. That video became Jaron's most popular video on his channel, having double the amount of views on Preston's vid. Additionally, Preston's video started getting roast comments from the people who saw Jaron. Jaron noticed this and advised the comments to be nicer.[3] On December 14, 2024, Jaron uploaded a sequel to his successful video claiming Preston has faked over 100 videos.[4] Jaron joins Preston's Discord server and starts making theories about his scary myth video suggestions being rigged. During the video, it shows that Preston and his team are becoming more open to the truth and saying some videos were never meant to be real and are just for entertainment. Additionally, Jaron starts realizing that some videos being faked doesn't matter all that much because people can still hang on to the imagination, and that sometimes people can be in the wrong.

The Scary Myth series Preston started has officially ended in November 2024 because of this event.
