yueko (born: May 19, 1998 (1998-05-19) [age 27])[citation needed], also known as chai, is a New Zealander[citation needed] artist and independent VTuber who is the founder of Atelier Live[1], best known for her pieces depicting female anime characters from popular franchises, and original artworks sold as prints.

Content[]

yueko's first videos were speed-paints. Originally starting as a digital artist with thick line weights, she would move on to drawing more detailed, painted art. In 2021, she began making VTuber related content which boosted her subscriber numbers, so she founded Atelier Live, a group of indie VTubers and streamers and also began art streams that have lasted for up to 8 hours. She would upload highlights of her Twitch streams on her channel and has played Fall Guys, NieR: Replicant, Celeste, Garctic Phone, Phasmophobia, Outlast and Hades. Her other content includes reading fairytales.[2]

She is her own illustrator, but her avatar was modeled by Brian Tsui.[3] She herself has experience in rigging.
