Jonatan Aron Leandoer Håstad,[1] better known as Yung Lean, is a Swedish[2] rapper. He is considered a pioneer in cloud rap, initially uploading the music video of "Ginseng Strip 2002" onto YouTube back in 2013,[3] which has since has gone viral and became one of the most popular songs in the genre.[4][5]

He is also part of a collective called Sad Boys Entertainment (or just Sad Boys), alongside producers Gud and Yung Sherman. They also run a fashion brand under the same name.[6][7]

  • His stage name, while a reference to the drug "lean", also comes from a part of his given name (Leandoer).[1]
