Zachary "Zach" Hsieh (born: January 14, 1999 (1999-01-14) [age 25]), better known online as ZHC (short for Zach Hsieh Comic Art), is an American YouTuber and self-taught comic book artist from San Jose, California, United States.

He has gained widespread popularity from his art timelapses and giveaway videos, which include drawing for long amounts of time and giving expensive products to his fans. He also makes tutorials to teach others and shares aspects of his life in short vlogs and talks. He is the founder of the Art Alliance and the Copic Abuse Foundation.

History[]

Zach started his YouTube channel on August 6, 2013 and uploaded his first video on December 13, 2016. His earlier content mainly focused on art tutorials and how-to videos, including drawing characters in a comic book style.

By 2018, he started uploading challenges, which included drawing for long amounts of time and the "Last To Stop Drawing Wins ___" challenge. He also started featuring characters in some of his videos, including Dax The Clameleon, Turkey, BunBun, Scrunchie (3 of them are known as the "Flex Family") and Dragon The Rock Johnson (name is a parody of Dwayne Johnson/The Rock) who is often holding money or art supplies. His recent content consists of giving away custom products and surprising famous YouTubers with customized items. On February 21, 2020, he released a video titled "Surprising Charli D'Amelio With 20 Custom iPhone 11s!!📱📞 ft. TikTok & LilHuddy (Giveaway)," where him and his friend Leo Mahalo customized iPhone 11s for TikTokers in The Hype House. This became his most viewed video as of August 2020.

ZHC has collaborated with many YouTubers, including MrBeast, who received a Tesla customized by Zach and other YouTube artists. He has also collaborated with Vexx, who has featured in his "Last To Stop Customizing Tesla" video, as well as many other videos. He also collaborated with Zach King in "Surprising Zach King With A Custom Car, Then Living In It For 24 Hours ($60,000)".

On 28 August 2021, he uploaded a video of him customizing one of the largest hospitals in the world for a hundred hours and paying $200,000 worth of other people's medical bills. Even though paying people's medical bills was supposed to originally be a MrBeast idea requested from the latter's fans, MrBeast found it hard to put the idea in practice without easily recording the faces of the patients in the hospitals, so ZHC managed to put this idea in practice while customizing a hospital first. This video has become #1 on trending in late August 2021.
