Kasper[citation needed], also known online as ZagiMC (born: April 5, 1996 (1996-04-05) [age 29]),[1] is a Danish[citation needed] YouTuber who almost exclusively posts Minecraft videos.

Kasper has stated that the story behind him becoming a YouTuber was that he noticed the lack of Danish Minecraft YouTubers, and so wanted to fill that role.[citation needed]

YouTube Career[]

Kaspers first channel was created on September 2, 2012, however in June, 2014, he switched to the channel he currently uses today because of a network he joined that he then wasn't able to legally leave.[2]

His first video on his new channel was episode two of a series he did with fellow YouTuber, DenMandigeElg, called Insomnia, the name of the Minecraft map they played in the series.[citation needed]

He has since the beginning of his channel and throughout its history almost only posted Minecraft-themed videos, such as Lets-plays by himself, Survival Games, Eggs wars, and more, however he would occasionally play other games such as Fortnite, Among Us or ARK.[3] His second channel, Zagi, primarily contains other video games and has almost no Minecraft videos.

At the 2016 'GG Awards' hosted by Gonzo Media, Kasper won the award 'YouTuber of the year'.[4]

Matrieux Server[]

The Matrieux server is/was a server containing many Danish Minecraft YouTubers, including ZagiMC.[citation needed]

Outside of YouTube[]

Kasper was born in Nørrebro and grew up in Vestegnen, Copenhagen. [citation needed]

After finishing his gymnasium education in the summer of 2016, he worked with YouTube as a full time job until 2019, when he started studying economics at Aalborg University[5][6]

Trivia[]

  • As of 2016, he uses Bandicam to record his videos with and Sony Vegas Pro to edit with.[6]
